NAHB Remodelors
Have you ever driven by a newly remodeled home and wanted to look inside? Or, have you thought about remodeling your own home but wondered where you could find a licensed, professional remodeler? The 2008 Showcase of Remodeled Homes offers the public the opportunity to do both, and support Partners for Homeownership at the same time.
The NAHB Remodelers of the Home Builders Association of Winston-Salem (HBAWS) announce the arrival of the 6th annual Showcase of Remodeled Homes. The Showcase is an event designed to provide an opportunity for builder members of the NAHB Remodelers to display their remodeling work, and a chance for the general public to visit and view this work. The event is sponsored by the NAHB Remodelers of the HBAWS and the Winston-Salem Journal. All proceeds from the event will go to a local charity - Partners for Homeownership.
The 2008 Showcase will take place Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, with the homes open to the public from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day.
Tickets will be sold for the Showcase ($7.00 each) with one ticket per person providing entrance to all homes once throughout the weekend. Children 12 and under will be admitted free with a ticket bearing adult. Tickets can be purchased through the HBAWS office before May 16 and at each Showcase home during the event hours. Organizers of this year's event are looking forward to another successful year for the Showcase. In 2007, more than 3,000 visitors attended the Showcase, and more than $4,700 was raised for the designated charity.
